Since 2001, The Dunham Group has helped the Diocese develop its website into one of the most active and visited religious websites - anywhere! Early on we developed a customized content management system for the individual parishes in the diocese to post service times, special events, announcements, employment opportunities, etc.
Intranet
The back end of the site is a very powerful communications and documentation tool, that helps parishes communicate with their members, and the diocesan office to communicate with clergy or all members in the diocese! All financial reporting is done securely online, and members can make one-time donations or schedule regular withdrawals from their debit or credit cards to support the various maintenance and ministry projects in the diocese.
Webcast
Special events in the diocese are normally held in the cathedral in Hamilton. These events are now broadcast over the Internet, so people from distant areas of the diocese can participate from their local church, and older members can view from the comfort of their home. Video clips from these events are then posted on the website.
Newspaper
Since mid-2005, The Dunham Group has edited and produced the Niagara Anglican, the monthly diocesan newspaper. Early on, the focus was changed away from reporting on events long past, to a more in-depth discussion on current issues and coming events. The newspaper has increase in size, readership and number of writers - who feel they make a meaningful contribution to the wider church and the world.
Print material
While the Intranet has enabled the diocesan offices to print many things in-house, The Dunham Group also provides other layout services for such things as business cards and program material.
